Well I have installed one hub and rotor, to find that one caliper bolt won't go in until I dismantle some of the front suspension previously put together......bugger..... the cycle guard mount gets in the way...

My 6 year old son helped me out today to get the calipers on, we only had to dismantle the bottom ball joint which wasn't to bad.

I like how these Wilwood calipers allow pad changes without removing the calipers......all calipers should be like that I reckon...

Checked my camber settings today with the good old spirit level, looks pretty good.

Have been adding a few more bits (very slowly) over the christmas period. Received the carbon fibre guards and dash just before christmas and they look great. Installed the gearbox, bellhousing and drive shaft also. Now we can sit in it and change gear while making Brummm, brummm noises.

Have started wiring up the power board and ECU also.

Work on the car has been slow over the last month due to recent events in the family, might now be able to get back into it.

We have however received the steering wheel, went for a Momo team 280, looks pretty good. Also a wierd thing to get so early but we brought a number plate for the car:

We have finally done a bit of work to the car, a weekend away with the Fraser car club at Taupo was teh best motivation to get things rolling again.

Bolted up the steering rack today, and am awaiting the brake plumbing bits. Once recieved and installed the engine will be in......can't wait for this as the engine wiring can be installed and culled out...

I have started to wire up the car, number plate light, tail lights and hi-stop light fitted, and I have started the production of the loom. Being an ex RNZAF avionics tech, I have been looking forward to this job. LED tail lights look pretty good....

All of the plumbing for the brakes and clutch arrived yesterday along with the master cylinders and associated bits and pieces. Over the next week I'll be busy installing all of that, once complete the engine can go in.
