Thought it about time I posted a picture.
Here is my freshly painted project, still not finished but close enough.
Front left painted.jpg
Front left painted.jpg (250.76 KiB) Viewed 242 times

Has been on the road for maybe 2 years and has sported a mottly colour scheme of gel coat, dirty ally, crappy black and a bit of carbon.

Specs:
Scratchbuilt
20v 4age blacktop, Toda flywheel, alloy crank pully, the rest unmodified as yet, Cams and headwork planned.
Megasquirt 2 V3 ECU
T50 with Saab concentric clutch cylinder
Sierra LSD diff, 3.92:1 ratio
Sierra rear discs and calipers
Cortina uprights and discs, 4 pot calipers
Locost frame (modified for IRS and with extra bracing)
Homologated Rollbar
Wheels 16x6.5" changing to 15" when I get a chance.
Weight about 560 - 580kg

Next project is a carbon scoop over the unifilter air cleaner.

Hi and thanks for the positive coments. Yea, I am happy with the nose stripe, similar to most, but a little different, I had considered the stripe running the length of the car, but couldn't be bothered etch priming the alloy, and I wanted more than just the lips, so here's the compromise.

No, I haven't been out to Ruapuna for a while, not since changing over to the Megasquirt in January. Work has been busy and all the other things. The reg is on hold for another month and for some reason the Megasquirt is running like a pig - I changed something before winter, but now cannot recall what it was - Bugger!
I am hopefull the MS will give me a few more Hp and I have re-jigged the rear wheel alignment, so am keen to see what it is now like out there.

On a different note, didn't you have a set of corner scales?

I borrowed them from a friend... I plan to get them back soon and have another go at my car since I have changed the diff etc. I thought I would see if the owner minds if I invite a few others over to play with them... maybe for a small gratuity..
Will let you know.

Hi Patrick I just notice the detail on your grill BZ7R which looks great.

Evan if you get the corner weights again I would be keen when my cars finished.
