Neil's (nee Patrick) ride...

Well, It's time I stamped some authoritah on the ownership of Patricks car so here's the obligatory post to prove it :-)

Strangely for someone so into photography I haven't been out to take any glamour shots yet, but I thought I'd show off the upgraded dash... Apply a couple hundred $$$ worth of new switches and half a day mucking about to get...

There's also the issue that I enjoy driving it more than I enjoy cleaning it, so it's tough to find a time when it's clean enough to shoot!

The new switches look great and really suit the carbon look dash, I have a couple in my car and they work really nice with a really nice tactile feel too them and at $36 well worth the price.

Have to agree with this - cleaning mine always takes second place to almost everything else - rather be out driving it than waxing it !

True? Might be time for an avatar change then!

Well, Vinyl ordered so I thought I should start with a little prep on the guards... Oh...

I couldn't in good conscience let that pass, so whoops - first stage of preparing the car for vinyl application seems to be doing a full prep for paint :-)

Sevens are made for driving, not polishing :D

Quite right, and that damage will buff out.

I made a habit of cleaning Grace every Sunday morning, in the end I had it so I could give her a really good clean up inside and out and it only took me 30 mins in the end :).

Fair call... It's more about motivation than time! No-one could claim you don't make time for driving, so if you could carve out the time, then anyone could!

Anyway, at the moment I am fighting the most wicked compound curve on the rear arch. I think I have an approach worked out, but I need several more hands first. Have a friend coming over tonight and will see how it goes. The rest should be easy after this!
