Project Disscussions

Post by Rookie » Sat Nov 07, 2009 4:45 pm

Hey guys
I have noticed that in the build Diary section that there is a lot of discussion going on. On other forums there is a Build diary section and a Project discussion section, this means that only the original author gets to post in the build diary section, and all the praise/help/comments get posted in the discussion section. I think it would tidy it up quite a bit and generally make it easier to see what is going on.
thoughts?

Hey Steve

If you look at the projects section here, then you see how there is a "Users projects/ Build ups" section and a " Project discussion" section. The Users projects relates directly to the build diary section, and the project discussion is the section that would have to be created. How it works it that only the author posts in his own build diary, and any discussion is posted in the discussion section, there is a post in the discussion section with the same title as the build diary post. Hope that explains it well enough

All right then I have now created a projects setion on its own and moved the build diarys to that section along with a new forum for discussing the builds of people using the build diarys forum, im going to leave all the build diarys as they are for now as its too hard to mess with their exsisting posts but from now on if everyone can discuss anything on the builds its to be done in the project discussion area and not the build diaryt that is for the person building his car to post updates in only from now on. We will see if it works out and let me know if people like it or not.

Cheers Stephen
