98 vs 100 Plus fuel

Post by Talkiet » Wed Nov 07, 2018 6:02 pm

With a NPD station now in Rolleston that has 100Plus octane - does anyone have any experience on that vs BP98?... My engine was dyno tuned (a few years ago) on 98. Wondering if there's any benefit at all to 100plus given it's the same distance from me and on the way to Ruapuna..

Cheers - N

I have switched to the 100+ for my car.... added protection if nothing else.

Some gains may be had if you go back on the dyno and add some more ign advance...

Does the 100+ have any ethanol in it?

No ethanol, and claims the octane rating is good for 6 months storage.
