Good power/torque unit converter. I mostly use it when I'm dreaming / browsing!

You can use google search to convert any units. just type in something like "180 foot pounds to kilogram centimeters" and see the result. It's quite neat how feature rich, yet un-cluttered the basic google applications are.
actually, the above example does not seem to work, but many forms of measurement do...

An excellent site for 7 type cars in general. There's a specially useful tool if you are contemplating using a Ford engine-there are 2 drop-down boxes side by side. You enter the model of 1 engine in 1 box and another engine in the other. It then gives you a comparison of the 2 engines-weight, height, length, approx power output, mods and general comments about tuning potential etc. Unfortunately it is heavily Ford biased. Think from memory the only non Ford engine is the Toyota 4AGE. Pity someone hasn't done the same for all the engines commonly used in Clubman type cars.

Just add a third to go from hp to kW and imperial torques to metric torques. Not 100% accurate, but close enough given that the original numbers are likely to be interneted anyway ;) And of course 1/4 off to go the other way.
