2014 Mcgregor SR7 - Wrecking

Post by heavyseven » Tue Jul 17, 2018 4:12 pm

I'm afraid you heard me right. The insurance claim is in its final stages, so fairly soon I'll be stripping the car down and sending it's parts wherever they may live on.
The windscreen, wipers and heater have already been reserved by Ryan.
If there are any bits that tickle your fancy, let me know. Pretty good details about what went into the car can be found in my build diary.

Parts known to be destroyed/severely damaged in the crash:
Front suspension+wheels+uprights+steering rack+at least 1 steering universal
radiator,
Virtually all the lights.
all body panels except left rear guard.
Thermostat housing (only visible damage to motor other than leaking sump graze)
Drivers side harness (arguably not fit for re-use after being used?)

The majority of the rest of it is till there and intact. I also have my matching old engine and gearbox laying about home.
Once the heavy bits are gone I'll be looking to clear out some vehicle service gear too. Cheap engine crane, oil change ramps, aluminium racing style jack etc.

Let me know what you're into. I'll be pretty thorough with the strip down.

What ratio diff did you have in your car? 3.6? Guessing no lsd either... Wilwood pedal box is tempting but would be major work to change from my floor mount set up that works with no issues.
